At present,the new curriculum reform indicators require teachers to abandon the traditional concept of silence,students are required to participate in classroom teaching activities in order to achieve students' right to speak.It leaves space for students to think so that they can give full play to their imagination and creativity.Therefore,the rational use of "positive silence" teaching strategy plays an important role in creating a good classroom teaching atmosphere and improving the quality of classroom teaching.However,at present,the application of classroom "positive silence" strategy is less,and there is a lack of effective practice results.Therefore,based on the comprehensive analysis of the relevant research of classroom "positive silence" at home and abroad,this study is based on the comprehensive analysis of the domestic and foreign classroom "positive silence" related research.The results show that more than 80% of junior middle school English teachers use "positive silence" in the classroom,and more than 50% of junior middle school English teachers approve of the "positive silence" teaching method.If students can be given enough time to think on the classroom,the teaching effect may better.Students do not adapt to the teaching skills of “positive silence” and do not cherish the classroom "positive silence" time.In order to solve the above problems,this study puts forward some suggestions to improve the "positive silence" strategy of junior middle school English from the two aspects of teachers and students.From the teacher's aspects,it mainly analyzes the teaching method of "positive silence" in classroom,the opportunity of "positive silence" in classroom and the degree of "positive silence" in classroom to give some suggestions.From students' aspects,it will give suggestions on cherishing the time of “positive silence” and trying to adapt to teacher's classroom "positive silence" strategy analysis.The aim of this paper is to promote the practice of "positive silence" teaching method,improve the classroom efficiency and promote the students' enthusiasm for learning.
