| The Nanyue Ancient Road is the linear cultural heritage of the Belt and Road,which carries the heavy historical and humanistic feelings,and its cultural heritage resources are extremely fragile and non-renewable.It has become the common social recognition to protect the cultural heritage of the Nanyue Ancient Road.At present,there are few research results on the suitability evaluation of cultural heritage tourism development in the Nanyue Ancient Road,and the timing and intensity of cultural heritage tourism development have not been clearly answered.And then the sustainable development of tourism in the Nanyue Ancient Road is restricted.Nowadays,it is urgent to study the suitability of cultural heritage tourism development in the Nanyue Ancient Road,so as to provide a reference for the activation and utilization of the cultural heritage in ancient road.Based on the opinions of experts in the field of cultural heritage research and the actual situation of the Nanyue Ancient Road,an evaluation index system for the suitability of cultural heritage tourism development of the Nanyue Ancient Road is constructed.This paper uses analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight of the evaluation index,and applies fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate the suitability of tourism development for the Xijing Ancient Road and its 24 cultural heritage resources with high scarcity.The evaluation results show that:(1)The overall suitability of tourism development of the Xijing Ancient Road is between “suitable”and “basically suitable”,and it is closer to the “suitable” grade,which indicates that the Xijing Ancient Road is more suitable for tourism development.(2)We should focus on the development of the Panwang Festival,embroidery and folk songs of the Yao nationality,the Guanlan Academy,the Tiyunling section and the Houziling section of the Xijing Ancient Road;16 cultural heritage resources,such as the Zhenxi Temple Ancient Theater,whose comprehensive evaluation score is between 3.0 and3.7,should be moderately developed,and the Dafu Bridge and the Kexian Temple should be restricted in tourism development.Through on-the-spot investigation and analysis of evaluation results,it is found that the cultural heritage tourism development of the Xijing Ancient Road in Ruyuan has the following problems: imperfect public service facilities,insufficient external publicity,low integration with surrounding excellent tourism resources,some of the heritage has not been excavated and the traditional villages along the ancient road have been hollowed out.The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is applied into the study on the suitability of the cultural heritage tourism development of the Xijing Ancient Road,and the theoretical study of the linear cultural heritage tourism development is further enriched.At the same time,it provides a reference for the judgment of the timing and intensity of cultural heritage tourism development in the Xijing Ancient Road.This research method also has referential significance for evaluating the suitability of cultural heritage tourism development of other ancient roads in Guangdong Province. |
