Research On The Protection Of Wuli Bridge Section And Tieyunling Section Of Xijing Ancient Road

Xijing Ancient Road is an ancient "expressway" as an important road linking the ancient Central Plains with Lingnan.In the Chinese civilization for thousands of years,the Xijing ancient road has become the blood of the development and change of politics,economy,military,culture,population and language in Lingnan and even in China.It has played a great role in history.At present,the Government also attaches great importance to this ancient road,and the protection and restoration work is in full swing.The protection work also needs more extensive research.In order to better protect this ancient cultural line with multiple values,so that it can be sustainable development.The research of this topic is very important.In this paper,the study mainly includes several aspects.Firstly,To sort out the general situation of the Xijing ancient road and to investigate and summarize the current situation of Wuli bridge section and Tiyunling section.And conclude the main problems.Secondly,To evaluate the two sections of the ancient road,referring to the World Cultural Heritage Valuation System as a standard,to evaluate the value importance of the ancient road itself and the related material and cultural heritage and natural environment along the road.Thirdly,according to the importance of the evaluation results and the comprehensive conditions of the protection status of Xijing Ancient Road in all aspects,the protection measures are studied from the aspects of the ancient road itself and related material and cultural relics as well as the natural environment.Fourthly,according to the main role of Xijing Ancient Road in modern society,and according to the different nature of these two sections of ancient road and the importance of the relevant relics,the distribution of use functions is made,and the improvement of service facilities and marking system is put forward in order to protect and utilize the ancient road.From these four aspects,the paper studies the present situation,value,protection and utilization of The Ancient Road.It is suggested that attention should be paid not only to the protection of material remains,but also to the protection of the local cultural soil,and to the living conditions and ideologies of the local residents.Only in this way can the Xijing Ancient Road be protected and utilized in a longer and sustainable way.
