A Study On The Type Construction Of Xu Zheng's Comedy Movies

In the ebb and flow,Chinese comedy movies have made brilliant achievements in every stage of the times.Comedy movies have stood out in domestic movies in recent years and become one with exciting box office value.Amid the development of comedy movies for more than one hundred years,comedy movies enjoy gradually diversified themes,methods,and forms.The types of comedy movies are also integrated.All this shows that comedy movies are gradually moving towards a more mature and perfect way of typed movies.After comparing and screening several subjects in comedy movies in recent years,such as Ning Hao,Xu Zheng,Ma Hua Fun Age,Chen Sicheng,Wang Baoqiang and Huang Bo,the author focuses on Xu Zheng's comedy movies.Xu Zheng is not only a popular director in recent years,but also produces a large number of phenomenal movies as directors,producers and actors.Therefore,the author believes that the study of "Xu Zheng Type" comedy movies has its practical significance and value.This paper makes a deep study and analysis of several prominent comedy movies directed or starred by Xu Zheng,such as "Lost On Journey","Lost In Thailand","Lost in Hong Kong",and "Breakup Buddies".Through the diachronic comparison method,it explores the position of Xu Zheng's comedy movies in Chinese comedy movies,their inheritance and development of Chinese comedy movies,and the basis for future comedy movies.At the same time,the similarities and differences in narrative methods,movie style and comedy spirit expression are compared between Ma Hua Fun Age's comedy movies,Chen Sicheng's comedy movies and Xu Zheng's comedy movies and Da Peng's comedy movies of the same period,so as to construct the genre mode of Xu Zheng's comedy movies.In Chapter 1,what is comedy,comedy movie and comedy spirit are explored,and a brief review of the history of Chinese comedy movies is made,laying the foundation for the discussion of the full paper.In Chapter 2,the style of Xu Zheng's comedy movie genre is determined from four aspects:Xu Zheng's path to comedy movie,Xu Zheng's narrative characteristics of comedy movie,the presentation of Xu Zheng's comedy spirit and Xu Zheng's comedy movie as a commercial brand.In Chapter 3,the formation of the genre of Xu Zheng's comedy movie is determined by comparing the comedy works of other directors and Xu Zheng's comedy movies of the same period.The author hopes that through the study of the genre construction of Xu Zheng's comedy movies,a profile of Chinese comedy movies can be presented,the theory of comedy movies can be enriched,comedy movie theories can be created and some reference can be provided.
