| As an iconic figure of Chinese literati painting and landscape painting,Nizan, together with Huanggongwang,Wuzhen and Wangmeng, was called "four families of yuan dynasty".His painting style, cultural accomplishment and painting philosophy have been influencing countless Chinese painters and scholars for many years. His works have been repeatedly copied and studied by later generations. In this paper, with an emphasis on Nizan painting style, combined with their own Nizan studies of books and copy of Nizan work experience, from Nizan history background, growing environment, life experience, sensors and actuators, religious belief, individual character in different periods of Nizan work carries on the analysis comparison, mainly explores the Taoism culture thought of Nizan individual character and thoughts and the effect of ink style change in the painting. This paper probes into the changing process and causes of Nizan’s brushwork and ink-brush based on his poetic and artistic theories. This article will prove that "The Six Gentlemen’s Diagrams" is a pioneering work of Nizan’s middle style, not a work of Nizan’s early style."The Six Gentlemen’s Diagrams"opens a chapter of Nizan’s painting style in the middle period, which represents Nizan’s personal style from scratch, from imitation to formation. This paper holds that the study of traditional Chinese painting will certainly go through three stages from copying to sketching to creation. However,no matter the skill is profound or not, there is no personal style in the real sense.Only in the difficult transition from sketching to creation can there be the initial formation of personal style.Nizan made his own observation of the natural scenery and then created his own works through copying the works of famous artists in his early stage. This paper analyzes the composition, texturing method and layout of "The Six Gentlemen’s Diagrams",attributing this painting to Nizan’s works of medium style, which is regarded as the embryonic work of Nizan’s painting style. In "Yunlin book of Chinese painting",Nizan from composition, brushwork, tree leaf, stone, method, point method, inky shade change, scenery trade-off,the ancients while melting method of how to study landscape painting today summarizing conclusion, from which we can see Nizan so-called "Drawing at will does not seek similarity."is not refers to the technique of random, but a subjective artistic thought and attitude. Each brushstroke of Nizan in the album how to write, how to close the pen.Every stone and leaf ornament,is after a lot of observation, thinking,at the same time,a lot of practice and concluded,in the whole process,we do not see that there is no any random,on the contrary, every brush Nizan, every dot is repeated and become. His landscape painting is a true portrayal of the scenery along the Taihu lake, which is completely contrary to "seeking no resemblance".Therefore, there is no such thing as"loose brushwork and careless writing without seeking for likeness" in the painting itself of Nizan. The reason why his works are still regarded as one of the peaks of Chinese traditional landscape painting to this day is precisely because his works themselves have an unquestionably high quality. The real meaning of "Drawing at will does not seek similarity" is the spiritual and artistic requirements. |
