Analysis On The Formation Of Nizan's Calligraphy Style During His Later Years

NiZan was able to get rid of Zhao' s Style during Yuan dynasty,when the calligraphers advocated Jin and Tang' s "retro" thought.Based on the study from masters of Jin and Tang Dynasty,he gradually formed his own characteristics in calligraphy,involving the scribing style in folk.His calligraphy works are mostly remains as painting inscriptions,letters,poems,and only a few of independent works.And his calligraphy is matching well with his style in landscape paintings,bringing out the best to each other?In order to find out the different calligraphy styles between Ni ' s early life time and late time,the change in his emulating,guitar body and art arrangement,Ni' s independent calligraphy works and inscriptions in the painting are analyzed.For this,the author tries to study from Ni' s changes in spiritual belief,namely the influence of changing from Buddhism into Taoism,and the idea of "getting painting thought into the calligraphy".Taking Ni' s calligraphy works and painting inscriptions as study object,the thesis is divided into four parts:the first chapter briefly describes Ni' s life,analyzing the background of Yuan' s calligrapher community and reclusion calligraphers represented by NiZan at the end of Yuan dynasty.The second chapter takes Ni' s calligraphy in his survival works as the study object,and analyzes Ni ' s learning calligraphy from origin and the change of his style,according to document literature of ancient calligraphy and painting analysis as theoretical basis.The third chapter discusses the influences of Zen Buddhism culture and book style,taking the start point of Zen meditation progress and its spirit,to analyze his style change from his early life time to late time.The fourth chapter discusses Ni's idea of "taking calligraphy into painting and getting painting thought into calligraphy,regarding of the integral of calligraphy and painting,which influence each other,and promote each other.
