Focus Research On Uzbek Language

The information structure refers to a structure in which a speaker transmits information to a listener,and the speaker evaluates the cognitive state of the listener to adjust the information distribution.Focus is the core concept of information structure,the main point of information that the speaker thinks to convey,and the important information in the new information that the listener accepts.Linguists at home and abroad have conducted in-depth research on the focus of multiple languages in the fields of semantics,syntax,and discourse analysis.Among them,English and modern Chinese have the most research results.In recent years,some scholars have studied the focus structure of minority languages,but the number is small.This paper first puts forward the Uzbek focus study by sorting out the research on the definition and classification of focus and related expressions in the related literature.Based on this,the research paradigm combining functional linguistics and linguistic typology is used as a guide to collect and analyze natural corpora of Uzbek,and to sort out Uzbek focus concepts,types,and other issues from the perspectives of rhythm,syntax,and pragmatics and analyse.On the other hand,according to the facts of Uzbek,the expression methods of Uzbek focus and its specific use are summarized.This article is divided into four chapters,as follows:Chapter One Introduction.This part briefly introduces the origin of the topic,the significance of the research,the research content and methods,and the source of the corpus.It also points out the table of transliteration symbols used in this thesis.Chapter 2 The concept of focus and its classification.First,the domestic and foreign representative viewpoints of the existing focus concepts and focus categories are summarized.Then analyze and explain the new information,presets,topics and other concepts that are relative or related to the focus.Chapter III The focus of Uzbek and its manifestations.This chapter discusses the types of Uzbek focus and its expression in combination with focus theory.Combining Uzbek language facts with Uzbek focus expressions,the focus is divided into combined focus,exclusive focus and inclusive focus.From the perspectives of prosody,vocabulary and syntax,the grammatical means of marking focus in Uzbek and its specific use are further discussed.The prosodic expression mainly discusses the classification of Uzbek accent and the principle of sentence stress distribution;the vocabulary expression mainly discusses the functions of-GInA,-(j)aq,f(?)q(?)t,h(?)m and other focus marks;the syntactic expression mainly discusses normal and abnormal word order in Uzbek,The pre-and post-forms of and their relationship with focus,and the presentation of special sentence patterns.The fourth chapter:Conclusion.It summarizes the content of the first three chapters,and summarizes the focus and classification of Uzbek language,the means of focus expression and its specific use.
