A Study On Focus And Focus Marker In Mandarin Chinese

This article is divided into the introduction and the main text two major parts. The introduction part introduced briefly the research goal, the research present situation, this article research technique, the language materials origin. The main text part divides into three chapters. The first chapter introduces and critics generative grammar theory. The second chapter explores completely about the focus from the definition, style, strength, unique strong focus principle and the feature's assign. The third chapter is the research about the mark of focus and the focus-sensitive operators, generalize the previous the research about this question, propose my opinion based on the specific language materials, place emphasis on stress,"shi"and the mark of focus, get a conclusion of my own.
