There are load and load of harlots in Tang Dynasty,which are not particular products during that period.As a special group,the sources of harlots are various,including criminals,paupers,gifts,folk selection,plunder,and tributes.As a result,the harlots place an insignificant status due to the actual condition.Many types of harlots are conducted by the researches.According to the administration,they can be divided into four types,consisting of Palace Harlot,Official Harlot,Camp Harlot,Domestic Harlot,and Common Harlot.Their life accommodates to the specific cultural environment that will clarify from aspects of culture and art.Regard as cultural aspect,the harlots create and propagate millions of songs and poems in such gold time,especially for some masterpieces.In addition,they become the main characters in the novels due to communication with literators.In the end,the harlots play crucial roles in the banquets that based on the calling escort service,which facilitate the development of wine culture.As for artistic life,harlots are the primary cultural carriers by achieving kinds of accomplishments like music and choreography.The harlots in Tang Dynasty are respected by the public due to their diverse contributions,even they still cannot get rid of their obscurity.Therefore,they lead a freer life than normal females.The harlots come from different classes and mature development later on.Not only for the devotion of works of literature in the certain period,but leaving an impressive influence then,via their artistic advantages.The innovations are as following.First of all,mining the features from the harlots in all aspects in order to express this kind of character.In addition,defining the Harlots'status from a realistic perspective which is different from a traditional way.Last but not least,discussing the impact both on art and economy as well as praising their contributions.
