Shen Xun and Jiang Guangci were both born in the early 20th century. From the perspective of the overall social environment at that time,Korea and China were in a similar social environment, suffering from the oppressio n of imperialism on the one hand and the sharp internal contradictions on th e other.Under the challenge of such a political situation of internal and exte rnal troubles, the pent-up emotions of the two writers were released.Althoug h Shen Xun and Jiang Guangci lived in different countries, they had a deep resonance in sympathizing with the miserable experience of the people at th e bottom and opposing class oppression. They are full of chivalry, hate the dark social reality, appeal to the masses to rise up,and try to construct the romantic spirit of the "ideal world" through the means of literature. This pa per studies the novels of Shen Xun and Jiang Guangci from the Angle of r omanticism. The romanticism here is not the shallow romanticism limited to the creation technique in the narrow sense, but the romanticism as a value with proletarian consciousness and resistance consciousness. This thesis is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is the introduction. The introduction focuses on the pu rpose and significance of the research, the concept of the research objects an d research methods, and on the existing research of Shen Xun and Jiang Gu angci. The second chapter mainly starts from the life experience of Shen Xun and Jiang Guangci, tells the growth experience of the two writers and the fo rming origin of the romantic spirit. The formation of the romantic style of t he two writers is inseparable from their own personalities and growing exper iences.Shen Xun was born in a traditional aristocratic family. With his sensi tive and delicate personality,he witnessed the decline of the traditional aristo cracy including his own family. His thoughts were greatly impacted and insp ired, and he resolutely joined the ranks of resistance and struggle.Jiang Gua ngci grew up in a poor family, detest evil from childhood, the process of gr owing and studying abroad,he was deeply influenced by the proletarian ideo logy, has been in the front line of the revolutionary struggle. The third chapter mainly focuses on the romantic literary creation of Sh en Xun and Jiang Guangci.Shen Xun and Jiang Guangci pay much attentio n to the emotional changes in the hearts of the characters. In the works of t he two writers, there are radical intellectuals, women in the new era who ris e up in revolt, people struggling in the plight, and revolutionaries who go to the "fall".In addition to the characteristics of romanticism in the characteri zation of the above characters, the romantic tone of the work is also worthy of attention.Shen Xun and Jiang Guangci show their admiration for nature and their romantic spirit of adventure in their works. In addition, they also constructed an ideal world in their works, and injected the elements of the new era of "love" into the theme of "revolution",and then interpreted the r omantic emotional expression mode of "revolution plus love".The fourth chapter expounds the value of Shen Xun and Jiang Guangci's romantic literature on both sides.Shen Xun and Jiang Guangci's romantic literature is full of humanistic care, and combines the ideal with the reality, creating a "revolutionary romance",and finding a new way for romanticism.Although the literary works and spirit of the two writers are of great value and significance in the literary world, the limitations of their romantic litera ry creation cannot be ignored. The two writers are too persistent in the purs uit of good ideals,so that the work to a certain extent shows the characteris tics of distortion. In addition, the stereotyped plots and flat characters also make the work less interesting. The fifth chapter is the conclusion, which summarizes the main content and context of the thesis.
