"Things" are either natural or man-made,and they are transformed by human consciousness and use.The inquiry into things is really a reflection on their existence."I",in the text,is the subject of creation or subjective representation.The creation of lacquer art is an expression of the creator's subjective initiative,in which there is not only the choice of "I" versus "thing",but also the meaning of "thing" versus "I",and the interaction of person to person and object to object at this moment.In the process of the integration of "thing" and "I",there is a dynamic relationship between the sensual,emotional and idealized,this relationship is actually a reflection of aesthetic thought,which in essence influences the creation and thinking of art;but for the definition of the essence of lacquer material,it is more important to consider how it meets the specific practice of creation.Through the convergence and dialogue between design thinking and formal language,this paper examines the balance and interweaving between the object's "thing" and the subject's "I" in the creative process,and explores the materiality and artistry of the lacquer material,and the relationship between the object and the self in the material.
