As an important part of Chinese Confucian classics, rites began to develop its clues from the pre-Qin period, tended to prosper through the Han and Tang Dynasties, and gradually declined to the Song and Yuan Dynasties, and to the revival of the Qing Dynasty.Wan Sida's " Partial Annotation of the Book of Rites " is a book on "Book of Rites" in the renaissance movement in the early Qing Dynasty, and it has received much attention from later generations of the academy. The book is part of the interpretation of the essays in the Book of Rites. The full text has only 152 articles, but the content covers a wide range, involving textual research, textual research, etiquette system interpretation, etiquette interpretation and other aspects.Wan Sida takes the poor scriptures as his own responsibility, annotates the scriptures with a wide range of materials, and adopts textual research methods such as scriptural evidence, historical evidence, and understanding the scriptures according to human feelings. His interpretation of the scriptures strives to be concise, and some of the contents are often expressed in a way that he can see each other with other etiquette books he wrote and other articles in the "Book of Rites".During the study of "Book of Rites",Wan Sida fully reflected his academic spirit. He blended various opinions and gave high respect to the research results of his predecessors, but he was never superstitious about his predecessors. It is often explained through extensive recruitment of quotations and mutual verification of group books. In the process of interpreting the Scriptures,he doubted the scriptures and did not easily draw conclusions, but adopted a skeptical attitude, and used skepticism to explain the etiquette system for those who lacked strong evidence.Vance also had some problems in the annotated scriptures. For example, the authors who failed to indicate some of the quotes cited the views of the quotations, and some of the views were similar to those of the predecessors but were not explained. In the process of annotating scriptures, there is a lack of precise textual research, which violate s the etiquette system and misunderstands the scriptures. In addition,Wan Sida is larger than adding entries in the text, causing the disorder of the verses to be lost.Through the analysis and combing of Wan Sida 's " Partial Annotation of the Book of Rites ",we can understand the unique thoughts of "Book of Rites" in Vance University. An objective assessment of status helps to understand the research situation of the Book of Rites in the early Qing Dynasty and the gains and losses of the revival.
