In terms of morning reading activity,it is a common characteristic learning activity in rural boarding middle schools,which is also an important means to cultivate students' English ability.Since the 21 st century,morning reading activity has become the research focus of domestic English researchers and front-line teachers.However,the research on morning reading activities in China focuses on the qualitative research of the status quo,the role,the strategies and other aspects,which lacks the quantitative research on the impact of language learning strategy training of morning reading activities.At present,the morning reading activities in rural boarding middle schools are generally inefficient,in which students lack the guidance of teachers,students' English learning efficiency is low,so it is not conducive to the improvement of their English ability.Based on this,the author will study the influence of language learning strategy training of morning reading activities on rural middle school students' English learning.The specific research questions are as follows:(1)What is the impact of language learning strategy training of morning reading activities on rural middle school students' morning reading attitude and behavior habits?(2)What is the impact of language learning strategy training of morning reading activities affect on rural middle school students' oral English scores?(3)What is the impact of language learning strategy training of morning reading activities on rural middle school students' English listening scores?(4)What is the impact of language learning strategy training of morning reading activities on middle school students' written English scores?As for the research topic in this paper,it is based on the previous research,which takes class 9 and class 10 of grade 8 in the rural boarding middle school in Fangzi District,Weifang City,Shandong Province as the control class and experimental class.For the control class,it adopts the traditional morning reading activity mode,while the experimental class adopts the language learning strategy training of morning reading activities mode to conduct the teaching experiments.Moreover,the experimental period is seven months.After carrying out the experiment,it compares and analyzes the questionnaire survey data of the control class and the experimental class' s morning reading attitude and behavior habits before and after the experiment.After the experiment,three students are randomly selected from 49 students of experimental class to conduct the interview record analysis of their morning reading strategy training views.Finally,it uses SPSS 23.0 to analyze the English differences of the experimental class and the control class before and after the experiment in the listening,speaking and written aspects.According to the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the above data,the mainfindings of this paper are as follows:(1)Language learning strategy training of morning reading activities has a positive impact on the morning reading attitude and behavior habits of rural middle school students;(2)Language learning strategy training of morning reading activities can significantly improve the oral English scores of rural middle school students;(3)Language learning strategy training of morning reading activities has a significant effect on rural middle school students' English listening scores;(4)Language learning strategy training of morning reading activities can significantly improve the written English scores of rural middle school students.In a word,this paper makes an empirical study on the effects of language learning strategy training of morning reading activities on rural middle school students' English learning,and helps the rural boarding junior schools in Fangzi find an effective language learning strategy training of morning reading activities program,which can improve the efficiency of morning reading.This paper provides some reference value for other rural junior schools' reform of morning reading activities.
