String music in Heze is a representative type of folk music in China.It belongs to a combination of plucking and juancheng.It is mainly distributed in Heze city,Yuncheng County,Juancheng County and other areas in Shandong Province.Heze string music is the only "Northern style" string music with active state inheritance at present.Its musical characteristics are mainly manifested in decorative playing techniques and dense rhythm.There are two kinds of music pieces,daqu and Xiaqu,among which Daqu is a large musical cycle composed of several ancient pieces,and the music pieces used are varied based on the structure of "eight-board body".The main survival mode of String music in Heze is to carry on the inheritance and development by means of family inheritance and mentorship inheritance and oral teaching.
