Research On The Music Theme Style And Performance Art Of Erhu Concerto "Song Of Chu"

After entering the 21 st century,art is in a diversified state.Music creators and performers should actively think about how to endow music with a new interpretation and connotation under the present popular tendency.The composers have deeply explored the special national music for further innovation and development based on the diverse national traditional music,combined with the western composition theory and Chinese national music,and further promoted the great spirit of the Chinese nation and excellent traditional culture.The Erhu Concerto “Chu Song” is one of the masterpieces,integrating the Chinese and Western fusion.It was created in 2014 by Li Bochan,an excellent young composer of the Central Conservatory of Music.The work mainly described the love story between Yu ji and Xiang yu,the overlord in the Chu Han War,involving the heroic images of the Chu brave army on the battlefield.The composer utilized the Erhu instrument as the main object of expression,which is closest to the human voice.Through the piano accompaniment,this work exhibited the heroic image of "stripping the mountains and the world" and the ever-present loyal love vividly.Its unique creation technique and delicate music language enabled the work widely loved and praised by the audience when premiered at the second Beijing Huqin Art Festival.This research analyzed and explored the Erhu Concerto “Chu Song” from three aspects,including the writing background,creative techniques and artistic performance.The first chapter was about the background of the composer and the wok.In order to understand how the composer used traditional musical elements in combination with modern western composition techniques to create music works,it involved in analyzing the structure of the music work about composition analysis and other relevant theoretical information;the second chapter was about analysis how the composer successfully shaped the character and accurately grasped the musical style of the music through the exploration of the melody trend,rhythm type expansion and performance changes of the work "Chu Song",the third chapter aimed to explore the features about the left and right hands of "Chu Song" performing skills,in order to present the music theme style to the audience through the stage performance form;In the fourth chapter,the author created the work in his performance style which was on the basis of respecting the original work,and further discussed the importance of psychological factors on stage performance in the music performance.This study took the Erhu Concerto “Chu Song” as the research object,and analyzed the content and performance style of the music expressed in the work,with the aim of discovering the mystery contained in the musical language and improving the ability in music creation and stage practice,further providing reliable information for later music scholars.
