Guzheng is a traditional Chinese musical instrument.It has a history of more than 2,000 years.With the passage of time,its left-hand playing technique has also undergone tremendous changes,from "composing rhyme" to "taking sound" to the balance,The left-hand playing skills continue to increase difficulty,and even "right-handed.""Desert Walk" is a piece played by the author in a graduate concert.This zheng song was created in a newer year,so there is less literature on its work.The author through the practice plus theoretical research,and appreciate the interpretation of the song by other outstanding performers.There was a keen interest in the left-hand performance of the song.This article will be divided into three chapters.The first chapter will analyze the relevant background and musical structure of "Desert Walk",from the introduction of the composer to the relevant background of the music.Among them,the relevant background of the music is divided into The creative background and the historical and cultural background of the song are explained in detail.The second chapter specifically studies the left-hand technique in the repertoire,and introduces it in detail with a musical example.In this chapter,I explore the left-hand performance techniques and their performances in "Desert Walk" in two sub-sections,using the ideas of left-hand traditional techniques and innovative techniques.The third chapter is titled "Inheritance and Reflection of Left-hand Performance Techniques after Passion and Plasticity".An excellent guzheng work must not only be expressive,but also have cultural connotation and profound meaning.Therefore,in this chapter,the author will dig deep into the "love",leftovers,and "jing" that are conveyed by left-hand performance techniques,as well as thinking about the inheritance and development of Guzheng's left-hand techniques.
