A Brief Analysis Of The Spiritual Exploration Of Light And Shadow In Urban Themed Paintings

Each city has its own unique architectural system and style,which is the product left by people's spiritual needs in The Times.Its different visual effects and functions,bearing a wealth of emotional images.As one of the subjects of artistic creation,urban oil painting landscape has always been an important choice and expression for artists.Through its own life closely and imperceptibly immersion,it has a unique sustenance and perception of the city's landscape architecture,from which it can find its own painting language and entry point.This paper takes the spirit of urban landscape architecture as the research direction,and tries to answer how to use light and shadow in painting through artistic creation.Through the composition,color,space and other form factors,show and express the city landscape in a variety of images and feelings.First of all,the Roman coliseum and Notre Dame cathedral are taken as examples to explain their architectural structure and origin,and the spirit they bring to people is related to their own creation,so as to establish the direction of creation with the stadium as the theme.Secondly,the special effects produced by combining light and shadow with the city are used to establish the possibility of the implementation of the creation theme with the help of theoretical knowledge and the reference of works while observing and practicing.Finally,I put my feelings in the real city architecture,analyzed and turned into thepainting language,so as to create a picture with a sense of form and spirit,and express my true feelings.At the same time,I try to study my own painting method while integrating the experience of the painting,which will serve as a reference for the future creators of urban landscape architecture.
