Light And Shadow Revelation-Discuss The Effect Of Light And Shadow On Oil Painting Creation

The existence of light and shadow plays an important role whether in natural live or in oil painting creation.Works in different periods and styles from Western oil painting history show diverse performances of light and shadow as well as the importance of the light and shadow.In this paper,I use light and shadow revelation as a clue,combining the visual experience from predecessors with my own life and creation experience,finding the combination of theory and practice,and analyzing and hackling the use and performance of light and shadow in oil painting creation,to explore and find out the influence of light and shadow on inner spiritual realm of oil painting and deep emotional expression,as well as the situation of the society,environment and people.This paper is divided into four chapters: the cognition of light and shadow,light and shadow in painting,the effect of light and shadow on oil painting creation,and light and shadow revelation.The first two chapters describe what light and shadow is,the theory of light and shadow in painting and the use of light and shadow in western oil painting.The third chapter mainly analyzes cases of different types of painters.By combining my own experience of oil painting creation,the paper discuss the effect of light and shadow in oil painting on modeling and color performance,and the impact on creation of atmosphere and the expression of emotion.The last chapter mainly bases on my own creation experience.According to my creation ideas,I analyze four aspects,including the impact of light and shadow on the vision,thinking of the living situation,the origins of the creation,and the discussion of creative thinking,in order to discuss the light and shadow revelation.
