Research On The Problems Existing In The Use Of Enumeration Words In Modern Chinese

This article takes the problems in the use of modern Chinese enumerated words as a starting point,and uses relevant academic papers,books,dictionaries and teaching materials as the analysis basis.Take the related content provided by multiple corpora such as modern Chinese online corpus,BCC corpus,CCL corpus and so on.It analyzes the reasons that lead to many problems in the use of enumerated words,and makes some suggestions for improving the use of enumerated words.The first part analyzes the outstanding problems in the use of modern Chinese enumeration words from the perspective of improper word selection and improper collocation.The improper choice of words is mainly reflected in the phenomenon of misuse of meaning,the mix of stylistic and emotional colors when people choose to enumerate words;the collocation of words is inappropriate,mainly reflected in the collocation of the enumerated words themselves and the collocation with other words、the form of collocation is more casual,and the collocation of enumerated words and punctuation is confusing.The second part explores the reasons for the problems in the use of enumerated words.The relevant reference books and textbooks do not have sufficient interpretations of enumerated words,and the lack of clear criteria for the use of enumerated words,as well as the subjective factors of users,are the main reasons for the problem.First of all,the relevant reference book’s explanation is too simple and too singular,neglecting the color of these words,and there is controversy over parts of speech and usage.These factors are not conducive to people’s correct understanding and accurate use of enumerated words;Secondly,the lack of standards for the combination of enumerated words and the combination with other words and punctuation are all reasons for inappropriate use of enumerated words.Furthermore,users’ weak awareness of the distinction between enumerated words and the serious tendency of randomization of the use of enumerated words have directly aggravated the improper and incorrect phenomena in the use of enumerated words.The third part is related thoughts on the problems in the use of enumerated words in modern Chinese.Aiming at the reasons that lead to problems in the use of enumerated words,some suggestions are given to improve the use of enumerated words.First of all,it is necessary to further improve the interpretation of enumerated words in the reference book in terms of expanding the coverage of interpretation,enriching the interpretation form,realizing precise interpretation,deepening part-of-speech exploration,eliminating usage differences,etc.Secondly,a series of clear collocation criteria must be formulated for the enumerated words.Finally,it is necessary to increase the user’s awareness of conventions.
