This paper takes the archeologically unearthed inkstones of Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties after the founding of the People's Republic of China as a research object,comprehensively analyzes the unearthed inkstones at sites such as tombs,kiln sites,and city sites,makes archeological typology analysis of inkstones,studies the ornamentation of inkstones,analyzes the regional and epochal features of inkstones during this period,analyzes the relationship of inkstones with grade of the tombs.The body is divided into five parts.Introduction.The purpose of this paper is exploring further the law of the development of inkstones during Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties,and analyzing problems such as the regional and epochal nature of inkstones during this period.Reviewing and combing the history and current situation of research on inkstones during the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties.Depending on the research focus,the research is divided into four areas.The first aspect is special research,that is,the special study of inkstones in the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties.It is mainly to study the law of the shape and characteristics of the inkstones.The second aspect is the general research on the history of inkstones.Scholars analyzed the inkstones of Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties in the course of studying the entire history of inkstones.The third aspect is the research of a certain type or texture of inkstones,mainly studying a particular kind of inkstones.The fourth aspect is the typological study of inkstones in tombs,which mainly studies the shape of unearthed inkstones from the tomb.The second part is "Types and Ornamentation of inkstones in the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties".Based on a summary of the excavations of inkstones during the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties throughout the country,it can be seen that the sites where inkstones came out mainly include tombs,kiln sites and city sites.In this period,there are many types of inkstones.Depending on the texture of inkstones,the inkstone during this period is divided into lithic inkstone,pottery inkstone,porcelain inkstone,copper inkstone,iron inkstone,lacquered inkstone,wooden inkstone and waxy inkstone,and then dividing the pattern of various types of inkstones.Most of the inkstones are plain,and there are fewer inkstones with ornamentation,but there are many types of ornamentation on inkstones,mainly include geometric patterns,plant patterns,animal patterns,and figure patterns.Among them,there are many types of geometric patterns.The third part is "Regional and Epochal Features of inkstones in the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties".First of all,this paper analyzes the regional characteristics of inkstones during this period.The inkstone of Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties is divided into two areas: the north and the south.The south is divided into the lower Yangtze River,the middle and upper Yangtze River,and Fujian,Guangdong and Guangxi communities.The shape of various types of inkstones,the ages of inkstones,and the origin of porcelain inkstone in various places are the main objects of analyses.Secondly,by sorting out the development of various types of inkstones,it is concluded that the contemporary characteristics of inkstones in this period are the new development of mainstream inkstones,the development of pottery and porcelain inkstone,and rich in variety of inkstones.At last,the functions of inkstones during the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties and the relationship between inkstones and their tomb grades are analyzed.In this period,the functions of inkstones are mainly practical and as burial objects.Practical functions are the main functions.Inkstones are not a sign of high-level tombs.The burial of inkstones is more related to the identity and preferences of the owner of the tomb.Conclusion.Summarize the ideas,deficiencies and problems to be solved in this article.
