Research On The "Middle Class Imagination" Of Metropolis Novels In The New Century

After the new century,the urban novels have gained a lot in quantity.There is a common feature in many urban novels,that is,they are full of the imagination of "middle class".From the study of "middle class" at the beginning of the new century to the frequent emergence of "middle class" words in recent years,the middle class imagination of urban novels after the new century is worth exploring.Therefore,this paper aims to study the middle-class imagination of urban novels after the new century.The background,content,way,influence and dilemma of imagination are the whole research content of this paper.This paper is divided into four chapters,each chapter is divided into three sections,and there are introduction and conclusion,which are composed of six parts.In the introduction part,this paper mainly defines the related concepts of "middle class" in sociology and literature.Based on the "middle class" proposed in the Research Report of contemporary Chinese social class edited by Lu Xueyi in 2002,there are many researches on "middle class" in sociology.The most representative one is the Survey of Chinese middle class edited by Zhou Xiaohong in 2005 and the "middle class" The specific identity,lifestyle and so on all provide a specific definition.The first chapter mainly studies the cultural formation of urban novel creation in the new century.This paper discusses the ideological and cultural situation,the construction of middle class identity and the expansion of middle class discourse space.In terms of cultural collision,it is divided into three parts: the aphasia of intellectuals,the infiltration of Hong Kong and Taiwan culture and the establishment of money totem;the construction of "middle class" identity is discussed from the source of "middle class" class and the two-sided nature of "middle class" identity;the expansion of middle class discourse space is discussed from the continuous discussion of "middle class" life and the continuous recognition of "middle class" aesthetics.The second chapter mainly studies the specific content and the reasons behind the imagination in the new century urban novels.This paper discusses from three aspects: the group image of "half face","elegant" life style and "landscape" life space."Half face" figures mainly discuss their specific image types and origins;"elegant" life style mainly discusses the material representation and spiritual connotation of middle-class imagination;"landscape" lifespace mainly discusses their residential space and leisure space.The third chapter mainly studies the narrative mode of the middle-class imagination in the new century urban novels,from three aspects: the typical image of the middle-class imagination,the body narrative and the death narrative of the middle-class imagination.The typical images of the middle-class imagination mainly include the images of nature,industry and fashion;the body narrative of the middle-class imagination is mainly divided into two parts: the body aesthetics under the aesthetic sense and the "class" difference of the body;the death narrative of the middle-class imagination is divided into two parts: the accidental death and the spiritual death.The fourth chapter mainly studies the influence of the imagination in the new century's urban novels and the realistic dilemma.In the new century,the influence of imagination in urban novels can be divided into two parts: the spread of anxiety and the change of values;the real dilemma can be divided into two parts: the scarcity of writing resources and the utilitarian of writing purposes.
