As we all know,the Internet has both advantages and disadvantages.On the one hand,it improves our quality of life and widens our communication channels;On the other hand,overuse of network makes us lose our enthusiasm for life and seriously affects our physical and mental health.In order to further study the influencing factors of Internet addiction,we selected the two most common factors in daily life: psychological resilience and boredom tendency,and explored the relationship between them.Psychological resilience is the internal factor to protect individuals when they encounter stress events.Individuals with high psychological resilience are often full of hope for life and rarely fall into material addiction.Boredom is a kind of negative emotion that everyone can produce.When individuals can not find rich stimulation in real life,they often devote themselves to the Internet world.In this paper,301 college students in Tianjin were investigated with boredom tendency scale,Resilience Scale and Internet addiction scale of college students.The results are as follows: there is no significant difference in Internet Addiction Tendency of college students among the four demographic variables of grade,gender,major and family location,but the Internet Addiction Tendency of non only child is significantly higher than that of only child College Students’ psychological elasticity is negatively correlated with boredom tendency;college students’ psychological elasticity is negatively correlated with internet addiction tendency;college students’ boredom tendency is positively correlated with internet addiction tendency;boredom tendency has intermediary effect between undergraduates’ mental resilience and addiction tendency for Internet.
