A Multi-angle Study Of The Discourse Marker "You VV"

Discourse marker is a special phenomenon in human language,it is one of the symbols to distinguish between machine language and spoken language,and it is also an important means for people to express subjective attitude and emotion.This dissertation mainly studies the discourse marker composed of the second person pronoun�you�and the verb�VV�,and tries to make a systematic and comprehensive description and explanation of the discourse marker�you VV??VV?�on the basis of previous studies.The whole dissertation is divided into seven chapters:The first chapter introduction.This chapter briefly introduces the reasons and significance of the topic,the research status of discourse markers at home and abroad and the problems that still exist.The second chapter examines the discourse marker�you VV�as a whole.From the use of the two different properties of the�you VV�structure,the form and syntactic characteristics,the diachronic evolution process,and the grammaticalization process,pragmatic functions.The third chapter discusses the use of the discourse marker�you VV_{sensory verb}(?VV_????)�.Mainly take the discourse marker�you look?????�as an example,the main reason is that it is used most frequently in the sentence,and the usage is the most representative.From the syntactic distribution and collocation selection,semantic connotation and pragmatic characteristics of three large parts of the analysis.The fourth chapter examines the discourse marker�you VV_{psychological verb}(?VV_????)�,taking the discourse marker�you think?????�as an example,from the syntactic function,semantics,pragmatics,diachronic evolution and the four major aspects of the trend of development fully describe the basic characteristics of the discourse marker�you think?????�.The fifth chapter studies the discourse marker�you VV_{spoken verb}(?VV_????)�,selects the typical representative discourse marker�you say?????�,firstly starts from the syntactic distribution of the discourse marker�you VV??VV?�,examines the distribution characteristic of�you say?????�,then analyzes the semantic characteristic of the discourse marker�you say?????�,and then analyzes the pragmatic function of the discourse marker�you say?????�,including the three aspects of the interpersonal interaction function,the discourse organization function,the evolution track and the formation motivation.The process of not discourse marker to discourse marker is analyzed,and it is found that subjectivization and intersubjectification,high-frequency use,non-categorization and structural re-analysis have very important influence on the formation of discourse marker�you say?????�.The sixth chapter mainly compares the discourse markers�you VV??VV?�and their related categories from the internal and external perspectives.After the internal contrast found that�you VV_{sensory verb}(?VV_????)�replacement ability is the strongest,the degree of tagging is also the highest,followed by�you VV_{spoken verb}(?VV_????)�,and finally�you VV_{psychological verb}(?VV_????)�.In terms of pragmatic functions and external forms,�you VV_{sensory verb}(?VV_????)�is also varied,pragmatic function is complex,followed by�you VV_{spoken verb}(?VV_????)�,and finally�you VV_{psychological verb}(?VV_????)�.External contrast,the�you VV??VV?�and the�you V you??V??�,�you V??V?�discourse markers are compared to analyze the differences between them.The final chapter is a summary of the full text,and points out the shortcomings of the whole dissertation.
