Research On The Discourse Marker "Forget It" In Spoken Chinese

Discourse marker is a unique pragmatic mechanism in the oral communication of modern Chinese,and it is an important means to promote the mutual understanding of the speaker and the listener in communication.This paper selects the discourse marker"suanle" that frequently used in spoken Chinese as the research object,based on the discourse markers "suanle" data analysis,summarizes the discourse marker "suanle"and its relevant variant forms and syntax distribution,studies the role played by the combination of the "suanle" and the concrete speech act.The introduction part mainly defines the research object of this paper,elaborates the reason and significance of this paper,summarize the research status of discourse marker at home and abroad,the research status of the discourse marker"Xle" and the discourse marker" suanle "illustrates the research methods and sources of the corpus.The first chapter mainly studies the pragmatic model of the discourse marker"suanle",discusses the several pragmatic models that divided from different angles of the discourse marker "suanle":single use and continuous use,independent use and sticky use,summarizes the discourse distribution of the discourse marker "suanle" in the beginning of the turn,the middle of turn,the end of the turn,and the independent use of several words,and illustrates their characteristics in different positions.The second chapter mainly studies the pragmatic function of the discourse marker"suanle".The discourse marker "suanle" has functions of discourse organization.Form is mainly about transfer and ending turn.Content is mainly about continuation of topic,transformation of topic and ending of topic.The discourse marker "suanle"has the function of contextual adaptation,which is mainly manifested in three aspects:the adaptation of language context,the adaptation of the scene context and the adaptation of the background context.The discourse marker "suanle" has the function of interpersonal communication,mainly for showing the speaker's emotional attitude,prompting communication process and adjusting interpersonal relationship.The third chapter mainly studies the role played by the combination of the "suanle" and the concrete speech act,and mainly discusses the role of "suanle" in several speech acts such as dissuasion,abandonment,negation,concession and suggestion.The role of the discourse markers in the dissuading is mainly to ease the mood.The role in the abandonment is mainly to clear the speaker's abandonment intention,and the role in the negation is mainly to strengthen the negation.The role in the concession is mainly to express the disagreement between the speaker's cognition and behavior.
