Adolescence is a critical period of growth, during which stressful events can harm their health and adversely affect their health in adulthood. How to let the youth avoid the health risk,we should find out the influence factors to the youth's bad mental health.Studies have found that physical activity and sedentary behavior are associated with mental health in adolescents, improving their anxiety and depression symptoms.Longer screen time can lead to a series of bad mental health problems in teenagers. The purpose of this study is based on physical activity, sedentary behavior, screen time in junior high school students with depression and anxiety symptoms, further understand the relationship between them, find out the influence factors of anxiety and depression,so as to prevent and mitigate because of the low level of physical activity, sedentary time is too long,or the injury of the video time is too long to teenagers, promote the physical health of teenagers.Research chooses "adolescent physical activity questionnaire","sedentary behavior questionnaire","children's depression self rating scale","anxiety scale of middle school students" investigation on 503 junior middle school students in groups, using IBM SPSS23 statistical software for data and descriptive statistics, variance analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, explore the physical activity and screen time in junior high school students, depressive symptoms and anxiety symptoms with sedentary behavior, the relationship between the following results: 1.More than half of the junior high school students in this region are at the stage of moderate physical activity level, while the high physical activity level is relatively low. There are significant differences in the physical activity of junior high school students in four demographic variables: gender,self-assessment of family economy, father's educational level and mother's educational level.2.The average sitting time of junior high school students in the region in the past week was about 5.03h/d.The average amount of time spent sitting was longest in education. The sedentary behavior of junior high school students was significantly different in two demographic variables: family economy and father's educational level.3.In the past week, the average video screen time of junior high school students in this region was about 1.00h/d,and the average time spent on computers or tablets was the longest. There are significant differences between the two demographic variables of junior high school students' video time: gender and self-assessment of academic performance.4.The detection rate of depression symptoms of junior high school students in this region is 24.7%,most of which are in the condition of mental health. There are significant differences in the three demographic variables of gender,self-assessment of family economy and self-assessment of academic performance among junior high school students.5.The detection rate of anxiety symptoms of junior high school students in this region is 50.1%,indicating that half of junior high school students have anxiety symptoms. The anxiety symptoms of junior high school students were significantly different in three demographic variables: gender,self-assessment of family economy and self-assessment of academic performance.6.Physical activity is negatively correlated with sedentary behavior, while sedentary behavior is positively correlated with screen time.Physical activity was negatively correlated with depression and anxiety, while sedentary behavior and video time were positively correlated with depression and anxiety.Physical activity and sedentary behavior significantly predicted depression in junior high school students, and the combined prediction rate of the two variables was 18.9%.In junior high school students, physical activity, sedentary behavior and video behavior had significant predictive effects on anxiety, and the combined prediction rate of the three variables was 15.9%.Conclusion :1.junior high school students have a lower overall level of physical activity,a longer average sedentary time and a shorter average video screen time.2.most junior high school students do not have depression symptoms, but the anxiety symptoms are more serious.3.there was a significant negative correlation between physical activity and sedentary behavior, and a significant positive correlation between sedentary behavior and video screen time.Physical activity was negatively correlated with depression and anxiety, while sedentary behavior and screen time were positively correlated with depression and anxiety.4.physical activity and sedentary behavior have significant predictive effects on depression in junior high school students.Physical activity, sedentary behavior and video screen behavior have significant predictive effects on anxiety in junior high school students.
