A Study Of The Popular Characters In "The Preface To Wang Bo's Poems" In The Tang Chao Edition

The ancient manuscripts of Wangbo's Poetic Preface which was transcribe and brought back to the Japan by the Repatriated to The Tang Dynasty in the seventh time,and the ancient manuscript has preserved a lot of the Variant Chinese character.Though select this characters of the ancient manuscript,The article wants to explain that how did this character's form evolve with the historical change.This article has two parts.The first four chapters and the five chapters.In the first part,we redefine the Variant character as the character that different normal character through collect the previous study,and this definition can avoid concept's confusion Then we classify this character as different-writing and different-constituting.By this work,we try to discuss the reason of stroke's change of different-writing characters and radical's of different-constituting characters.In Chapter3,we discuss the motivation of Variant character,and improve the non-arbitrarily of Variant in Chapter4.In the second part,this article wants to prove the relationship between the Variant Chinese character and the Chinese history,and can offer a way that pretty reliable to assist the study of history.
