With the acceleration of globalization and the spread of feminism,Indian women’s awareness of gender equality has gradually been awakened.As a cross-cultural communication medium,film carries an indescribable and important role in disseminating ideology,and Indian film has naturally become a powerful weapon for expressing women’s equality.In 1913,India’s first local feature film "King Harishchandra" marked the birth of Indian film,and later experienced two baptisms of "new film movement" and "new concept Indian film".Indian film gradually got rid of the traditional "Ma" The "Sarah" model has become an important medium for Indian culture under the trend of globalization.Especially since the new century,Indian films have shown an unprecedented influence on international communication."Ranger" in 1955 is the first Indian film introduced in China,and has a history of more than 60 years.Over the past sixty years,China has introduced women ’s images in Indian films that are very distinctive.By analyzing the mirror images of diverse Indian women in Indian films,you can clearly and intuitively understand the arduousness of Indian women seeking independent survival and development space,and women The discourse hegemony system encountered in society.Since the new century,Indian film creators have paid more attention to the status quo of women ’s survival and their mentality.A large number of images with the characteristics of independent women in the new era have appeared on the big screen.These women have broken the traditional stereotypes.Out of the shackles and norms,they seek their own demands with a more active,rebellious and independent spirit.This article makes a comprehensive review of the Indian films introduced in China,and uses a quantitative and qualitative research method to conduct a more comprehensive and systematic study of the female image construction in the film.This article consists of an introduction and four chapters.It uses quantitative and qualitative research methods to explore the construction of Indian female images.In the introduction,the author summarizes the research origin,research value,core concepts and research ideas.The first chapter cuts through the three aspects of appearance,social identity and emotional state,quantifies the relevant indicators of female images introduced in Indian movies,and summarizes the data in the text to summarize the female images preferred by Indian film creators in movies.index of.The second chapter summarizes the diversified trends of female images introduced inIndian films,and reveals two types of female images,namely the loss of female subjectivity and independent rebellion under the male power system.The third chapter reveals the strategy of portraying women in Indian movies introduced by China since 1955.Chapter Four discusses the female image construction mechanism from the context of female image construction,and responds to the problem of female image construction in the Indian film introduced by China from the social and cultural context.
