This paper attempts to solve the following problems: as a study of western music history,what influence does Haydn's era have on his music creation? How does Haydn music change under different identities? As a study of music sociology,what changes has Haydn's social identity experienced? Is this change representative among contemporary composers? What are the most fundamental and deep-seated reasons for this social identity change? The purpose of this paper is to study Haydn's social identity.This paper focuses on Haydn's two identities: prescriptive social identity and self induced social identity.It respectively discusses the embodiment of Haydn's dual social identity in his music and career.What needs to be clear is that identity only exists as a factor affecting the composer's style creation,which has a certain modifying effect on the overall style.In short,this paper attempts to clarify the influence of Haydn's two identities on his music creation,and then the social reasons for Haydn's identity change.The introduction part of this paper makes an evaluation of the selected topic from the research reason,the significance of the topic selection,and the relevant research results at home and abroad.The following chapters are based on the general logic.The first chapter describes the three main concepts in this paper.The second chapter is Haydn's role-playing of regulatory social identity,focusing on Haydn's command identity,and from two perspectives: employer's requirements and catering to employer's performance of Haydn's music creation under this identity.The third chapter is Haydn's role-playing of self induced social identity,which will Abstract autobiographical social identity can be divided into three roles: as the autobiographical performance of command and the identity of businessman and aristocrat,the author respectively selected three corresponding stages of music creation to discuss: Farewell on behalf of independent creation,London Style catering to public creation and creation century on behalf of individual consciousness expression;Chapter Four discusses Haydn's position from the macro perspective In the classical era,the author tries to analyze the typical reasons reflected by Haydn's identity transformation and the atypical reasons for his personalized characteristics through comparison with Mozart and Beethoven.
