The Influence Of Deng Xiaoping's Thoughts On Social Construction On Our Society After The Reform And Opening Up

The Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China marked the promotion of Deng Xiaoping's social construction theory in both ideology and practice and caused enormous changes in Chinese society.Deng Xiaoping's social construction theory is an important part of Deng Xiaoping's theory and a great achievement of Chinese people under the guidance of the Communist Party of China(CPC),reflecting the localization of Marxism in China for its combination of Marxism and China's actual condition and playing a vital role in the improvement of the current social construction in China.Deng Xiaoping's social construction theory has witnessed three stages of development.The first stage is the bud of Deng Xiaoping's social construction theory from 1927 to 1949,during which Deng Xiaoping investigated into the social construction of revolutionary base areas;the second stage is the formation of Deng Xiaoping's social construction theory from the founding of the Republic of China to the Reform and Opening Up,which is not only an important period in Deng Xiaoping's life but also the primary stage of his social construction theory;the third stage is the growing stage of Deng Xiaoping's social construction theory since the Reform and Opening Up,in which this theory accelerates China's social development and is continually enriched in the settlement of social problems in China.Deng Xiaoping's social construction theory consists of the perfection of social administration,social development,and social structure,contributing to the improvement of the system of social resource distribution,the social systematic and non-systematic integration,the expansion of the connotation of social life,and the social transformation from tradition to modernization.With regard to the system of social resources distribution,Deng Xiaoping's social construction theory stresses equality and avoidance of extreme disparity between the rich and the poor,laying a foundation for social stability.Deng Xiaoping's social integration theory is composed of two aspects.The first one is systematic integration,which provides rules for social integration with the combination of Chinese laws,rules,and disciplines;the second one is non-systematic integration,including the integration of socialist morality and social atmosphere.Compared with systematic integration,non-systematic integration put much emphasis on the establishment of the standard of social integration among the folks with the use of Confucius philosophy.The expansion of the connotation of social life is mainly reflected by the enrichment of social leisure life and the improvement of its quality as well as the elimination of the barriers of interpersonal relationship.The transformation from tradition to modernization is mostly reflected by the change of production mode,the promotion of managing state affairs according to laws,appropriate social disparity,urbanization,and the updated ideology.Deng Xiaoping's social construction theory develops Marxist social construction theory and makes a deep understanding of the essence of socialism,enriching the connotation of socialism and expanding the overall strategic layout of socialist modernization.Therefore,it is significant to make a study of Deng Xiaoping's social construction theory for the implementation of scientific outlook on development,the construction of harmonious socialist society,the improvement of CPC's governance capability,as well as the realization of China dream.
