Research On The Theory And Practice Of Honesty Construction In Contemporary Chinese Society

Since the reform and opening up,as China's society has gradually entered a transitional period,the social credibility problem has become prominent.However,it has become an important issue for us to comprehensively examine the problems of social integrity in contemporary China.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the issue of social integrity in contemporary China.To study the social integrity of contemporary China,we must sort out the basic connotations of social integrity.The basic connotation of social integrity mainly includes the meaning,composition,characteristics,and roles of social integrity.Social integrity refers to the principle of honesty,trustworthiness,and deeds of words and deeds that are practiced in dealing with social relations based on expectations of the ideal social environment by the majority of members of society and the resulting social fashion.It is a state or attribute that the society as a whole displays.Social integrity consists of three aspects:government integrity,organizational integrity and individual integrity.Social integrity is a basic ethical code universally recognized by all walks of life,organizations,and members of society.In addition to the general features of integrity,it also has features such as historical inheritance and developmental stages,broad subjectivity and diversity of the subject,moral restraint,and normative system.Social integrity is the foundation of individual self-reliance,organizational ethic and government authority.According to the basic connotation of social integrity,the crisis of social integrity in contemporary China is mainly reflected in the fields of economy,politics,culture and social relations.The reasons are mainly composed of four factors:(a)The erosion of the wrong value orientation has led to the negative impact of Western capitalist values and China's feudal concept of integrity on the construction of contemporary Chinese society's integrity.(b)Social integrity education is not strong,leading to people's failure to form a comprehensive and scientific understanding of integrity.(c)The incompleteness of relevant laws and regulations has led to low costs of dishonesty,resulting in a crisis of integrity and a decline in social morality.(d)The inadequacy of the government's integrity guidance has led to a weak sense of integrity among civil servants,reduced expectations of citizens for policies,and increasingly fierce acts of dishonesty.Therefore,strengthening the construction of social integrity in contemporary China has become an urgent task.It is necessary to proceed from two aspects:theoretical basis and practical exploration.The construction of contemporary Chinese society's integrity is based on the traditional Chinese concept of good faith,with the aim of the Marxist all-round development theory,and the socialist core values as a guide to form the theoretical system of social integrity.Under the guidance of this theoretical system,we should continue to improve the ideological and moral qualities of educators by building a social integrity education system and cultivate theintegrity of students.We should also build the operating mechanism of social integrity and improve the sense of integrity of the government,the enterprise,and the people.In addition,we must adopt judicial restrictions,establish and improve the security mechanisms related to the construction of integrity,and improve the legal system of social integrity.Only by completing the above three goals can the development of contemporary Chinese social integrity be carried out in a systematic and orderly manner,and the positive role of social integrity can be effectively played.
