Zhang Tailei,as one of the "three celebrities of Changzhou",who enjoys equal popularity with Qu Qiubai and Yun Daiying,is an indispensable figure in the history of the Communist Party of China(CPC).However,due to his modest,low-key and practical personality and indifference to fame and fortune,there are few historical data for and achievements made in respect of researches on him.The former scholars' resear mostly focus on the historical significance of Zhang Tailei as a historical Party personage,ignoring that he is also an outstanding organizer and speaker for the early dissemination of Marxist doctrine of the CPC.This paper reconstructs Zhang Tailei's life via newspapers,biographies,commemorative and reminiscent articles and other materials,and combs out how he grew into a progressive young man with firm belief in Marxist doctrine from a radical young man with patriotism and a Marxist communicator from an ignorant propagator.The vicissitude of his communication of Marxist doctrine has gone through four stages:preliminary propaganda and early newspaper and periodical activities in his youth,his practice of Marxist doctrine as a revolutionary diplomatic envoy for communication with the Soviet Russia,the opening up of the propaganda positions of the Youth League and the implementation of the editing and publishing work in the period of the Great Revolution and the establishment of the revolutionary political organs in Guangdong District.The paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter describes the initial stage of his communication of Marxist doctrine,analyzes and discusses how he grew from a radical patriotic teenager to a revolutionary youth with firm belief in Marxist doctrine in three aspects including the family environment in his childhood,the life experience when he was a student and the influence of the May Fourth movement.The second chapter describes his expansion of dissemination of Marxist doctrine.It discusses the organizational talent,the agile thinking and the excellent eloquence that he showed in the course of negotiation with the Soviet Russia.The trip to the Far East laid his historical status as the first revolutionary diplomatic envoy of CPC.The third chapter describes the practice period of his dissemination of Marxist doctrine,which revolves around the reorganization of the Youth League,and showed his demeanor as a youth movement conductor through a series of newspapers and periodicals,such as the "the Pioneer","Chinese Youth Biweekly","the Guide" and so on.The fourth chapter describes the mature period of his dissemination of Marxist doctrine.It focuses on the historical significance of the "People's Weekly" as an early local political organ,and sums up the dissemination activities and thought of newspapers of the mature period of his dissemination of Marxist doctrine.Although Zhang Tailei's life was short,he grew up with the accumulation of his revolutionary experience,using "the tongue and pen" as a weapon,taking Marx's career as his own task,and "doing the best in propaganda and organization",and thus becoming a propaganda agitator and revolutionist of Marxist doctrine of CPC second to none.
