An Analysis Of The China-Central And Eastern Europe "16+1" Cooperation Mechanism

Since the founding of People's Republic of China,the development of relations between China and CEE countries has experienced twists and turns due to historical problems.However,after the relations between the two sides have warmed up,especially under the guidance of the Budapest principles reached in 90 s,There has been a new and rapid rise in bilateral relations.In consideration of the increasing demands of cooperation between China and CEE countries,China's leaders in 2012,pushed the relationship to regularized cooperation platform.For the past five years,with early harvest and strong radiation effects,“16+1” cooperation framework has been increasingly mature and become a new type of relationship between countries in the world.The achievements in the construction of cooperation mechanisms between China and CEE countries in the fields of finance,trade,humanities and so on are beginning to show,and are increasingly becoming a relatively mature platform for cooperation among countries.But at the same time,asymmetry problems in mechanism platform are also exposed gradually,which will hinder the burst of new economic growth points and the realization of a multi-level,omnidirectional three-dimensional mechanism platform.Thus,the relationship between China and CEE countries needs to add more “top-level design” and “strategic planning”.This article will start from the establishment background,through the exploration of comparative advantages of China and CEE countries,the benefits acquired during the establishment process and the development dilemma of the mechanism itself.,trying to analyze the connotation,features and future prospects of China and CEE cooperation framework,and offer a clear path to perfect the mechanism and dock it with the “Belt and Road” initiative.This will further broaden and deepen the new channels of bilateral cooperation,not only play a constructive role in deepening cooperation between China and CEE countries,but also provide a new model for other countries in the world to handle inter-state relations.
