Research On The Handling Of Police-related Network Public Opinion

With the development and popularization of Internet technology application,the problem of network public opinion has become increasingly prominent and its influence has been increasing.The special political nature and sensitivity of public security organs often make them in the forefront of public opinion.Among them,the police work has attracted much attention from public opinion,especially some emergencies,because of improper handling,often evolve into negative public opinion for public security organs.More importantly,if the police-related public opinion work is not properly dealt with,it will lead to larger-scale and deeper negative speculation,which is not conducive to the smooth development of the work of the public security organs.As a small coastal city,the number and activity of netizens in R city has risen rapidly in recent years,which involves the public security organs of R city and forms a certain scale of cyber-sensitive public opinion.Although the public security organs in R City pay special attention to this kind of public opinion,there are still some problems,which cause some public opinion to have a certain negative impact in the process of dissemination,which has brought resistance to the work of the public security organs in R city,and even affected the trust of some public to the public security of R city.At present,there has been research in the field of police-related network public opinion at home and abroad,but there has not been a research specifically combined with the work of police-related network public opinion of R city public security organs.Firstly,the paper expounds the concept and characteristics of police-related network public opinion,combs and studies the relevant theories of risk management,public crisis and public crisis management.On this basis,this paper summarizes the current situation of the police-related network public opinion disposal in R city,lists two examples of the incidents of children’s teeth falling off in a kindergarten in R city and the incidents of drivers drunk driving traffic policemen’s window breaking law enforcement in R city,and makes a detailed analysis of the disposal situation.It is clear that the public security organs in R city still have some problems in dealing with police-related network public opinion,such as insufficient understanding,insufficient attention,imperfect measures and mechanisms,fear of the media,fear of exposure,fear of dealing with the masses and so on.This paper deeply analyses the causes of these problems,and further refines the pertinent thinking of dealing with police-related network public opinion in R city,mainly from raising ideological awareness,changing working concept,establishing a mechanism of rapid detection and early warning of police-related network public opinion,improving the mechanism of emergency response of police-related network public opinion linkage,widening the channels of police-civilian communication in many aspects and layers,and grasping the source and the source of police-related network public opinion.Fundamental aspects focus on resolving the problem of police-related network public opinion in R city.
