With China's " going global" strategy and the implementation of the " the belt and road initiative" plan,China's economic relations with Southeast Asian countries have come a step closer.Southeast Asian countries have become new investment destinations and the focus of investment competition among countries.Vietnam is the representative of the emerging investment market in Southeast Asia. The smooth investment and development of China and Chinese enterprises in Vietnam is of great significance to the bilateral economy.Vietnam is China's first country to establish diplomatic relations in Southeast Asia.Since 1991,China has started to invest in Vietnam. In the past 30 years of economic cooperation,in addition to the increasing trade volume between China and Vietnam,China's total investment in Vietnam and the number of investment projects are also increasing. It is worth noting that China rose to fourth place at the end of 2017(compared with the statistics of 2014),with an agreement amount of US $ 2.17 billion,284 new investment projects,817 capital injection or stock purchase projects, and China surpassed Singapore in the number of new projects and Japan in the number of capital injection or stock purchase projects.Studying the political risk of Chinese enterprises' investment in Vietnam is conducive to the smooth progress of bilateral investment cooperation and the avoidance of the damage caused by political risk, thus ensuring the profits of overseas investment and the business objectives of enterprises. This article mainly combines a large number of documents, periodicals, domestic documents of Vietnam and relevant data to sort out the relevant documents of domestic and foreign research on political risk and lay a theoretical foundation and theoretical basis. The first chapter combs the development process of Chinese enterprises' transnational operations in Vietnam, mainly analyzes the development status of Chinese enterprises' investment in Vietnam, and holds the investment situation of Chinese enterprises in Vietnam as a whole according to the characteristics of investment in Vietnam. The second chapter, based on the previous analysis, analyzes the political risks of Chinese enterprises' investment in Vietnam, mainly including the traditional political risks and non-traditional political risks. The third chapter,on the basis of the second one, analyzes the root causes and root causes behind these risks. Finally, through the above analysis,I try to provide some suggestions on how Chinese enterprises can avoid political risks by investing in Vietnam, mainly from macro and micro perspectives, that is,enterprises, government and global. The purpose is to provide a research report for Chinese enterprises to invest in Vietnam.
