On The Formation Mechanism Of Communists' Morality

Country without virtue does not prosper,and man without virtue does not stand up.It is the fine tradition of the Communist Party of China and the important part of the ideological and political education of the Party to establish oneself by virtue and to govern the Party with morality.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party Central Committee with Xi Jinping as the Core has determined to rule the Party strictly in an all-round way with the determination of cutting off all means of retreat,which firmly grasps the two powerful hands of "ruling the Party according to regulations" and "ruling the Party by morality",to carry out a series of inner-party education activities,and improve the inner-party laws and regulations.In particular,since the promulgation of the Communist Party of China's guidelines on Integrity and self-discipline"(hereinafter referred to as the guidelines)and the "disciplinary regulations of the Communist Party of China"(hereinafter referred to as the regulations),a high standard has been set for the Communist Party members and leading cadres to cultivate their moral integrity,and a "high-pressure line" has been drawn so that the overall moral level of the Communists has been significantly improved.However,the problem of losing morality and norms in the Communist Party team still exists in the face of "four tests" and "four kinds of dangers" in the new period,which damages the ruling image of the Party and weakens the ruling foundation of the Party.As the leader of leading the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,the moral performance of the Communists is not only related to their personal accomplishment,but also concerned with the party conduct and the social conduct,which is related to the survival of the regime and the overall plan of the country.In view of this,communists should take morality as a lifelong moral pursuit,give full play to the role of moral model,and build the mainstay of the whole social morality with the morality of the Communists.Facing the new test and new requirement under the new period,rethinking what the communist morality is and how to produce it is the problem that needs to be solved urgently in the new era and it is also the main point of this paper.It takes the Communist morality as the research object,draws lessons from the moral psychology,the organizational behavior science angle in the paper,in addition,it starts from the party member's individual morality to point out that it is necessary for communists to generate morality by the historicaldescription and the reality contrast firstly.Besides,with regards to the definition of related concepts,the connotation,extension and basic characteristics of communists' morality are made an analysis.In the end,from the angle of combination of self-discipline and heteronomy,the moral generating mechanism of communists is constructed,which includes two parts,such as internal mechanism and external mechanism.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the main text is made up of three parts:In the first part,the Communists are engaged in an unprecedented great and difficult cause in human history,gathering the hearts of the people and creating a great cause with noble moral strength at the time of the crisis of the Party and the country,and set up a glorious moral image in each historical period.The practical significance of the Communist's moral generation is pointed out by depicting the outstanding moral portrait of the Communists in front of the great historical test of the Chinese nation and the key nodes,coupled with the comparison of the problems of some Communists' loss of morality in the present period.In the second part,the morality of the Communists is different from the morality of the Communist Party and also different from the morality of the Communist Party,which has its own specific connotation,extension and basic characteristics.The morality of the Communists refers to the moral norms and Code of Conduct followed by the value concept of the Communist Party and the Communist Party's institutional morality and it's also the unity of virtue,morality,including four moral categories,such as loyalty,service for civilian,justice and integrity.The extension of Communist morality includes great morality,public morality and private morality,which shows the stable characteristics of the unity of party spirit and human nature,the unity of progressiveness and reality,and the unity of advocacy and compulsion.In the third and fourth parts,the formation of morality must be the unity of self-discipline and heteronomy,therefore,the moral generation mechanism of the Communists must include both internal and external mechanisms,so as to achieve both internal and external cultivation,and treat both the symptoms and the root causes of the disease in which the internal mechanism of the communists' morality is made up of strengthening the moral cognition,cultivating the moral emotion and training the moral will mechanism;the external mechanism of Communist's moral generationis made up of the combination of family education and inner-party education,the perfection of party members' moral assessment and evaluation mechanism,and the strict recognition of party members' moral reward and punishment mechanism.The transformation from external mechanism to internal mechanism is the key point of Communist's moral generation.
