On The Undertaking Of Civil Liability For Traffic Accidents Of Driverless Vehicles

As a typical representative of artificial intelligence,driverless cars are gradually being tested and applied by countries all over the world.The "unmanned" of driverless cars is different from traditional motor vehicles,and its characteristics such as automaticity of decision-making and operation and dependence on data have changed the driver-centered principle of responsibility subject identification and imputation.Handle the self-driving car traffic accident civil liability problem,help to clear the main body of responsibility identification.Based on the analysis of the concept and characteristics of driverless cars,this paper compares the difference between the identification of the responsibility subject of driverless cars and traditional motor vehicles,and analyzes the basis and situation that each subject should assume responsibility.The author puts forward,in the motor vehicle traffic accident imputation principle,on the basis of the principle of product liability imputation car insurance industry to share the liability risk,establish a "black box" system records the accident causation,perfecting the audit in advance,matter regulation,afterwards compensation system to meet the challenges of the driverless cars put forward.
