Research On The Nursing Service For The Elderly With Mental Disabilities In Nanjing

The main service object of the care service for the disabled is the mental retardation and the mental retardation.Affected by a variety of factors,most people with mental disorders rely on family care and upbringing,which not only makes it difficult to meet their basic needs such as rehabilitation and employment,but also causes great mental and economic pressure on their family members.Therefore,it is urgent to solve the problem of mental retardation.In this paper,set the research object to 16 one full year of life more than older mental disorder group,through to the nanjing five foster institutions for disabled persons visiting survey of in-depth interviews with the parents of the 24 older mental disabilities,understand current nanjing older mental disabilities service demand and service status of foster institutions,based on this,respectively from the government,foster institutions and mental disorder family three dimensions of nanjing foster service existing problems are analyzed,and tries to put forward some coping strategies.The first chapter of this paper is the introduction,which briefly introduces the research background,research significance,current research status at home and abroad and the research methods of this paper,and defines the concepts of the elderly mentally disabled,the nursing service institutions for the disabled,the "old nursing" family and the "double nursing" family involved in this paper,the theoretical basis of this study is briefly explained;The second chapter through to the selected 24 elderly mental disabilities parents in-depth interviews,fully understand the basic information of the older mentally himself with his family,economic conditions,social status,the present status of nursing services,found older more vulnerable mental disabilities in mental disabilities,they face a more serious economic pressure,foster service pressure,stress and more pressing endowment pressure,etc.,based on the foster of older mental disabilities and their families the brief analysis of service needs and expectations;The third chapter,from the perspective of the foster home for the disabled,makes a field visit to five foster home for the disabled in nanjing to understand the current operation and service status of the foster home for the disabled in nanjing,and analyzes the plight of the foster home for the disabled.It is found that the nursing institutions in nanjing as a whole are faced with the problem of difficult survival andlack of stable sources of funds and talent construction.The degree of service specialization is low,it is difficult to meet the needs of the service object,the overall service level is still in a relatively preliminary stage;The fourth chapter starts from the three main bodies of government,nursing institution and family with mental retardation to explore the problems existing in nursing service of mental retardation in these three dimensions.At the level of policy and system,there is still a lack of targeted support policies,and there is a lack of guidance policies on endowment and property trust urgently needed by older families.At the level of nursing institutions,there is a shortage of funds,professionals and other resources,and the service items are single and low,making it difficult to evaluate and improve the service effect,which has a great negative impact on the survival,development and system management of nursing service institutions.At the family level,parents have the wrong mentality of spoiling their children,the lack of professional guidance for care in the family environment,the need for respite services from parents,and the problems of responsibility supervision and property supervision of children caused by the death of older parents need to be solved urgently;The fifth chapter echoes with the previous chapter,still from the government,foster care institutions and families with mental disorders three major directions,to improve the elderly disabled nursing service problems.Not only should the government give full play to its leading role,improve the absence of policies and systems,and increase support;Foster care institutions should also give full play to their own service function,with the help of policy support and various social forces,strive for survival and development,and constantly improve the professional level of service;Families also need to provide internal support,actively participate in various professional training and guidance,and correctly understand the needs of children and themselves,so that the three parties can work together to accelerate the improvement of elderly mental disorders;At last,this paper makes a brief summary of the research,and summarizes the interview outline and the supporting policy documents of nanjing.
