This paper focuses on solicitors under the British dual lawyer system.With the development of several centuries,the unique dual-system lawyer system in the United Kingdom is unique in the world's lawyer community with its high efficiency and professionalism.The highly specialized British dual lawyer system has also attracted academic attention,but it is mostly focused on the elaboration of court lawyers,while the solicitors who are one of the important branches of the British dual lawyer system are less discussed,while the solicitors in the UK The role played by the lawyer community cannot be underestimated,and it is also worth studying in depth.This article demonstrates the proactiveness of the British lawyers through the discussion of the formation process,business scope,education and training,self-governing organizations,and the interests and performance of the lawyers in the reform of the British lawyer system.The tireless efforts made by the lawyer's label deserves respect.This article is divided into four parts:The first part of the thesis is mainly about the overview of British lawyers.First,I will talk about the process of the formation of British solicitors,and then explain the scope of business of British solicitors and form a preliminary understanding of solicitors.The second part mainly elaborates the professional training of British solicitors.The education they receive varies greatly in different periods.In the Middle Ages,solicitors received apprenticeship education.Since the development of modern times,the education and training of British lawyers have become increasingly standardized,which has greatly improved the overall quality of the solicitors community.Entering the 21 st century,under the leadership of the British Affairs Solicitors Regulatory Authority(SRA),the education and training of British lawyers is undergoing new changes to adapt to the changing economic and social development.The third part mainly elaborates the development and evolution of the British lawyers' self-governing organizations.Before the reform of the dual lawyer system,the British lawyers industry was highly autonomous.Industry autonomy had a great influence on the education,training,management and discipline of solicitors.The gradual and standardized development of the self-governing organization of the solicitor industry has made the solicitor's social status increasingly higher,gradually getting rid of the image of low-level solicitors formed to the public at the beginning of the solicitor,and gaining respect from all walks of life.The fourth part mainly elaborates the integration status of solicitors and barristers in the context of the reform of the British dual system of lawyers since the 19 th century,paying special attention to the interests of solicitors and their role in the reform and integration of the British lawyer system.
