As preschool education develops rapidly in China in recent years,the number of kindergartens increases greatly,which causes inadequate quantity of new teachers in this field.As a crucial part of educational system of kindergarten,parents work is not only a daily work,but also related to the social reputation of a kindergarten.Therefore,the training about parents work in new teacher orientation helps them adapt to their work.However,the reality is there are deficiencies in the training about communicating with parents for new teachers,which is mainly due to the lack of a relatively perfect training system.After giving a comprehensive overview of related literature,this study selected new teachers in their first year of employment in Shenyang as main survey subjects and conducted a questionnaire.A total of 295 valid questionnaires were collected.Then the study randomly selected 10 new teachers for in-depth interviews and two kindergartens H and Y as representatives for case study.This study has two main enquiries,namely,the current situation of training about parents work in new teacher orientations and the needs of new teachers when doing parents work.After the investigation and analysis for the two enquiries,the problems existing in the current training aiming at parents work and the actual needs of new teachers have been drawn,which provides a relatively complete references for the training about parents work for new teacher.This study found the following problems in the training aiming at parents work for new teachers in kindergartens: 1.The training opportunities are relatively fewer;2.The training content is not targeted and practical;3.The training methods lack effectiveness 4.The training assessment methods are not reasonable.At the same time,the study also shows that newly-recruited teachers really need training aiming at parents work,and hope that the training content should be clearly identified,the training methods should be more practical,and the trainers should attach equal importance to both experience and theory.Based on the current situation of training aiming at parents work and the needs of new teachers,the researcher puts forward the following suggestions: 1.Closely focus on parents work and achieve solid development;2.Pay attention to the needs of trainees and makeeffective use of it;3.Create problem situations and solve the actual difficulties.In the end,the researcher constructed a relatively complete program for parent work training,which mainly includes the following aspects: parents work training goals,training subjects,training content,training methods,training time,trainers and training assessment.
