With the arrival of the lifelong learning era,everyone must learn to adapt to social demands and realize self-development.Compared with other-directed learning,self-directed learning is more suitable for adult learning.The importance of high school teachers self-directed learning as an education and teaching professional is increasingly prominent.At the same time,the new curriculum reform put forward higher requirements for high school teachers.High school teachers must not only actively participate in the training of schools and related education authorities,but also actively conduct self-directed learning and use training to promote self-directed learning.However,there are many problems in the self-directed learning of high school teachers,and the efficiency of self-directed learning needs to be improved.This paper starts from the concept of self-directed learning,combined with questionnaires and interviews,reflecting the problems of self-directed learning of high school teachers,and puts forward rationalized strategies to help high school teachers improve their self-directed learning efficiency.The main content of this paper includes five parts:First,the introduction clarified the reason and purpose of the topic selection,combed and summarized the research results of self-directed learning both at home and abroad,and put forward the ideas and methods of this study.Second,related concepts are explained,including self-directed learning and high school teachers self-directed learning,the characteristics of self-directed learning,the value of self-directed learning,and the personality traits of self-directed learners.Third,carried out questionnaires and interviews about the current situation of self-directed learning of high school teachers.The selection and distribution of the survey object,the design and compilation of the questionnaire are explained in detail.Through the collation and analysis of the recycling questionnaire,the status of self-directed learning of high school teachers is described in detail.Fourth,by understanding the current situation of self-directed learning of high school teachers,summarize the problems of self-directed learning from two aspects: teachers themselves and external support.Fifth,based on the existing survey data and analysis results,from the perspectives of high school teachers themselves,high school and education authorities,this paper put forward reasonable support strategies to improve the efficiency of self-directed learning of high school teachers.
