Research On The Status Quo Of Asset Management In Local Colleges And Universities

Local colleges and universities need to adapt to the needs of talents in local economic and social development,and are committed to training high-quality applied talents with a solid foundation,high overall quality,and strong practical ability to meet the needs of local economic and social development.The non-operating state-owned assets in local colleges and universities are the material basis for talent cultivation and scientific research projects in local colleges and universities.Doing a good job in the management of state-owned assets in local colleges and universities and giving full play to the leading role of non-operating assets in the development of local colleges and universities is a necessary basis for developing local colleges and universities and strengthening the asset management of local colleges and universities.Due to the short establishment time of local colleges and universities,and the lack of experience in the country at the initial stage,there are some problems in the management of state-owned assets.The lack of attention and resolution has affected the sustainable development of local colleges and universities to some extent.This article takes University A as the research object,based on the theory of principal-agent theory,public product theory,and property rights theory.It uses case studies and normative research methods to define the relevant concepts of state-owned assets in colleges and universities,and then according to A.The status quo of state-owned assets in colleges and universities now analyzes the basic status quo of asset sources and asset management in A universities.Through analyzing and summarizing the status quo of asset management in A universities,it is pointed out that current state-owned assets management system in A universities and collegesa has an unsound,staffing configuration.Unreasonable,uneconomical utilization of low-value assets,serious waste,inconsistency of unclear accounting and other outstanding issues,in-depth analysis of the root causes of the problem.Aiming at the existing problems in the current asset management of A universities,we put forward measures to improve the management of assets such as perfecting management institutions and management systems,optimizing management team building,improving the utilization of non-operating assets,reducing waste,and improving property registration,inventory,and evaluation systems.The analysis of the status quo of asset management in A universities extends to the asset management of universities in China and plays a positive role in the asset management of universities in China.
