Research On The Integration Of Confucian Moral Education Thought Into Ideological And Political Education In Colleges And Universities

Ideological and political education in the university helps to facilitate students' political quality,cultivate values,perfect personality,and promote students' all-round development.And it is also an important approach to train qualified talents for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the Chinese dream.At present,university students have clear values,outlook on life,confidence in social development and self-development,and definite career planning.They also hold the strong political beliefs to acknowledge and actively participate in the process of practicing the socialist core values.However,with the overlap of various social ideological trends and cultural tendency,the co-existence of positive and negative culture,the culture of western liberalism,money worship,western constitutionalism thoughts and so on has exerted a certain negative influence on some students' outlook on life,values and world views.So,that poses new requirements and challenges to the ideological and political education in the university.As an important component of the traditional Chinese culture,the Confucian moral thoughts still has modern values in its basic content,education method and value concept.The integration of Confucian moral thoughts into the universities' ideological and political education is beneficial to enriching the theoretical basis and methods,boosting the efficiency of universities' ideological and political education,carrying forward the traditional Chinese culture,and enhancing the cultural confidence.This paper briefly explains the relevant concepts of Confucian moral thoughts and analyzes the basic content,characteristics and realistic value of it.Then,the paper discusses the necessities of integrating Confucian moral thoughts into university ideological and political education,and analyzes the overall ideological states,existing problems and the causes of problems for the university students.Finally,the author puts forward the basic principles and approaches of integrating Confucian moral thoughts into ideological and political education.All in all,the research aims to draw nutrients from the Confucian moral thoughts,enrich theoretical basis and education methods of the universities' ideological and political education,and achieve the combination between the Confucian moral thoughts and university education,so we can uphold the traditional Chinese culture in the universities and enhancing students' cultural confidence.
