Research On The Military Terminology Of Sports Commentary In "Sports Weekly"

Since the 1980 s,domestic newspapers have carried sports commentaries.As an important branch of news commentary,sports news commentary has gone through several stages of development and now enters a popular and recreational development period.In recent years,Military language has always been used in sports commentary in Titan Sports Weekly.In this paper,text analysis method,literature materials method and analysis inducting method are used to study the characteristics,functions and value of military language in sports commentaries,and to analyze the reasons for its emergence and persistence.Starting from the background of sports news commentary,this paper will analyze the military language in sports news commentary of Titan Sports Weekly.First of all,these military languages can be classified from the aspects of personal appellation,nature of competition,action and situation,among which the pragmatic effects of military languages in different categories are also different.Secondly,the functions of these military languages in rhetoric,stylistic features and cognition are also reflected.Then,from the pragmatic value,military language can fill the vocabulary vacancy,increase the language tension and enhance the aesthetic value.Finally,the reason for the existence of these military languages in the sports news commentary of Titan Sports Weekly lies not only in the psychological foundation of pragmatic social factors and metaphorical cognition,but also in the supply-demand relationship between pragmatic economic principles and human language needs,as well as in the orientation of cultural consumption and "depoliticization".Under the combined action of the above factors,the military language survives in the sports commentary of Titan Sports Weekly.
