A country where every citizen has a high sense of social responsibility has unparalleled development potential and cohesion.Middle school students,as social people and outstanding members of society,are successors,fresh forces and reserve forces of socialist construction.Therefore,whether middle school students have a high sense of social responsibility will directly affect the future development prospects of a country.The middle school students are in the most plasticity period,which is also an important stage of the formation of values.But we can see from the phenomena of "stinking you" and "elite Japanese" challenged the national bottom line in the microblog of Dr.Xiamen University,which appeared in the society,that the unbalanced social environment has had a negative impact on the values of contemporary middle school students,and gradually led to the weakening of the sense of social responsibility of middle school students.Therefore,it is urgent to educate middle school students about their sense of social responsibility.The report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the CPC clearly points out that "we should fully implement the Party's educational policy,carry out the fundamental task of building people with moral integrity,develop quality education,promote educational equity,and train socialist builders and successors with all-round moral,intellectual,physical and aesthetic development".It is the duty-bound responsibility of every educator to cultivate middle school students' sense of social responsibility.Since the promulgation of High School History Curriculum Standards(2017 edition),the cultivation of students' sense of social responsibility has become one of the important tasks of high school history teaching.This paper defines the sense of social responsibility and its related concepts,expounds the significance of the research on cultivating students' sense of social responsibility,and focuses on the new curriculum standard,the characteristics of history subjects and the history textbooks of high school.On the other hand,the paper expounds the relationship between senior high school history teaching and students' social responsibility training,adheres to the method of combining theory with practice,and tries to construct a framework for the content and implementation of students' social responsibility training in current middle school history teaching.
