In recent years,illustrations in textbooks have received attention and illustrations have gradually become a hot topic in textbook research.Because "life illustration" can integrate students' life into textbooks,mathematics education can be combined with the real life of primary school students,thus stimulating primary school students' love and interest in mathematics learning.Therefore,"life illustration" can play an important role in the process of students' mathematics learning.This study mainly use the literature research method,the content analysis method and the comparative research method to analyze and compare the "life illustration" in the first grade mathematics textbook for primary education and the mathematics textbook for primary school in Singapore MC.First,this study classifies "life illustration":the position can be divided into chapter head map,exanple map and problem map;the content can be divided into healthy life illustrations,family life illustrations,occupational life illustrations,consumption Life-like illustrations and civic life-like illustrations;functionally can be divided into characterization-type life-like illustrations,decorative life-like illustrations,and explanatory life-style illustrations.Secondly,on the basis of this study,the data of "life illustration" in these two sets of textbooks are statistically analyzed.Based on the comparison of statistical results,the following conclusions are drawn from three aspects.First,the distribution of two sets of textbooks "life illustration":the PEP version pays more attention to the use of "life illustration";the PEP version pays more attention to the problem maps,and the MC version pays more attention to the example maps;the PEP version focuses on students' Citizenship,professional life,MC version focuses on the student's family life and two sets of textbooks focus on students' mathematics learning.Second,the characteristics of the "life illustration" of the Primary School Mathematics Textbook:The design of "life illustration" can show Chinese culture;the process of solving problems in "life illustration" is complete and pays attention to the professional life of primary school students.Third,the MC version of the primary school mathematics textbook "life illustration" features:the emergence of thinking tools in the illustrations to help solve problems;the design of illustrations to help students carry out math activities and focus on the student's family life.Finally,based on the conclusions,the enlightenment is drawn.First,the enlightenment in the preparation of textbooks:textbook editors should appropriately add physical maps related to student life;textbook editors should increase the number and proportion of family life illustrations in textbooks and textbook editors should use the MC version as a reference to enrich the chapter The form of the figure.Second,teachers use the "life illustration" inspiration:teachers should use "life illustration" to moralize students;teachers should make full use of "life illustration",appropriately adapt the teaching content and teachers should guide the first grade student learns to read the picture.
