The Analysis And Comparison Of High School Mathematics Textbooks Of Jiangsu And IBDP Editions Take The Plane Vector Part As An Example

With the development of globalization,the comparison of textbooks between China and foreign countries is becoming more and more popular.Mathematics textbook is an important tool for teachers to implement teaching,and an important reference for students in mathematics learning.Therefore,this paper chooses the Jiangsu Education Publishing(JEP)textbooks and IBDP Edition textbooks to conduct a comparative study from the content structure,layout,content settings,exercises and applications,and draws the following conclusions:(1)In terms of content and structure,the two editions of textbooks are roughly the same.But IBDP textbooks are divided more carefully than JEP Edition.(2)Compared with IBDP,the JEP Press has three more modules:reading and thinking,computer application and inquiry and discovery.IBDP has more TOK,research and activity modules than Soviet Educational Press.(3)In the content setting,there are some differences between the two versions of the introduction.The conceptual presentation of the two editions of the textbooks directly presents the concepts to the readers.(4)In the setting of exercises,the number of examples in the two editions of textbooks is quite different,and the comprehensive difficulty of the two editions of textbooks is comparatively similar.On the two factors of inquiry and background,the difficulty of exercises in JEP Edition textbooks is higher than that in IBDP Edition,while on the other three factors,the two editions of textbooks are similar.In view of the analysis conclusion,the author puts forward the following suggestions:(1)the content division should be more detailed;(2)the number of exercises should be increased appropriately;(3)the number of mathematical learning problems with practical background should be increased appropriately.
