In previous studies on praise for early childhood development, most researchers paid more attention to the impact of praise behavior on early childhood development, but few to the effect of this influence on children themselves. From the perspective of selective trust, this paper attempts to analyze the internal processing process of praise attribution information in children after accepting adult praise. The study is divided into two stages. In the first study,37 children in middle class and top class were investigated by observing the change of Achievement Attribution after being praised by adults,in order to investigate the influence of age, presenter identity and achievement attribution in praise information on children's belief revision. The results showed that top class children were more willing to adopt the consistent attribution of strangers after being praised. In the second study, the Theory of Mind level,Effort-Ability Belief and Achievement Attribution of 26 children in middle and top classes were measured to explore the influence on the attribution of children's achievement after they were praised. The results showed that there was no significant difference between children's Theory of Mind and Achievement Attributions after praise. But a significant correlation between the Effort-Ability belief and the Achievement Attribution of children's,the higher the level of belief, the more vulnerable the children to be influenced by teacher's ability-oriented praise, and to make the attribution of ability-oriented achievement. In general,on the basis of previous studies, this study focuses on the selective trust of praise information in children after receiving praise, and puts forward hypotheses and tests on the internal mechanism between praise and children's psychological effects. This provides empirical basis and thinking for the follow-up research.
