Composition based on new materials appears frequently in college entrance examination in recent years.Comparing with the traditional way,more extensive materials are provided to facilitate,analyze and expand mind scope of students from multiple perspectives.In view of the purpose on composition based on new materials,it is to fully investigate the students' writing level and ability to clearly get the meaning hidden behind materials and ideas.However,they are not well integrated into the teaching practice.According to the basic principles of "ostensive reasoning","optimal relevance" and "cognitive context" in relevance theory,the author discusses the teaching strategies of students' ability,knowledge reserve and conception to help teachers enhance relevant teaching ability.Then students can get the meaning of materials more accurately and deeply to improve the writing level on new materials.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter summarizes the relevance theory of composition based on new materials.As a kind of writing type with unlimited materials,students need to conceive from multiple perspectives,strengthen their understanding ability and improve thinking ability.Owning features of "situational materials,speculative writing logic,and communicative writing content",the idea of examination is to test and analyze writing topics and materials.Styles,ranges of material selection,central ideas,techniques of expression and categories of compositions are correctly judged.The composition based on new materials pays more attention to the students'ability of material analysis,excavate meanings contained and establish themes with profound thoughts.Through analysis of evaluation criteria,it is found that examination conception accounts for the largest proportion of the four evaluation elements and plays a decisive role in success.Relevance theory belongs to cognitive theory related to speech communication and discourse understanding.The theory holds that speech communication is a meaningful and purposeful activity.Whether the speaker's purpose and intention can be understood by the hearer mainly depends on whether they have a common understanding of their cognitive environment.The relevance theory and the composition based on new materials examination idea teaching have the following points:first,meet the relevant teaching requirements;second,meet the requirements of students' Chinese literacy training objectives.The second chapter discusses the current situation and problems in the teaching of composition based on new materials examination.First of all,mainly from the teacher's teaching,the related process and teaching effect are introduced.On the cognitive level,under the guidance of constructivism,cultivating students' thinking ability is regarded as the teaching goal.At the practical level,students' learning intention is usually driven by test scores in the current composition teaching.The teaching content mainly presents and explains how to choose the conception angle.The traditional teaching method is adopted,"the teacher tells the students to listen,the teacher asks the students to answer".In terms of teaching effect,students are not active in topic analysis and lack of ability of independent examination and conception.Secondly,the analysis found that the former high school new teaching material composition teaching has the following problems:Theory and practice disconnect;teaching objectives are not accurate;lack of text awareness;the overall perception of training weakening;relying on teaching to assist explanation;teaching methods are the same.The third chapter details the teaching strategy of composition based on new materials examination based on relevance theory.First of all,the basis of teaching strategy formulation is introduced,and its guiding ideology includes three basic principles of Relevance Theory:"best relevance","ostensive reasoning" and "cognitive context".There are three types of materials:single material,multi material and caricature composition.Secondly,the preparation stage of teaching strategies is elaborated,including the formulation of teaching objectives in line with the cognitive laws of students and the adoption of open teaching.Finally,the content of relevant teaching strategies is explained concretely and separately.Single material composition:construct cognitive context and understand materials in depth;multi material composition:use the relevance points between materials to find the best relevance;comic composition:three,comic composition:combination of explicit reasoning to explore communication intention.In the fourth chapter,the operability and authenticity of the proposed teaching strategies are verified in actual teaching processes.Additionally,with the form of teaching plan,the author presents the application of various teaching strategies in the classroom to provide practical references.
