Since Professor Zhou Yizhen put forward in 2006 that "Computational Thinking is a basic skill that modern students must master in addition to reading,writing and arithmetic",Computational Thinking has attracted widespread attention in society.More and more experts and scholars are devoted to the study of computational thinking,and computational thinking education has gradually entered the information technology classroom of primary and secondary schools.How to study students' computational thinking in the information technology classroom of elementary and middle schools has become a very important tutorial.As a programming language,Python is gradually replacing middle school information technology courses and college entrance examination content systems with its simple syntax and easy input.This is also called the important task of learning students' computational thinking.The teaching design of python course for computer thinking training for junior high school students has become the focus of this research.This research mainly used research methods such as literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and education experiment method.First of all,breakthroughs have been made in the research status and theoretical basis of computational thinking.The teaching design of Python course for computational thinking was gradually established,and a teaching mode suitable for junior high school Python course was constructed.Secondly,the teaching practice of the constructed teaching mode is carried out to verify the effect of computational thinking training.Finally,the research methods and deficiencies are summarized.The results show that the teaching design of Python course for the cultivation of computational thinking ability can help students develop computational thinking ability,improve learning interest,and improve the level of computational thinking.
