In recent years, computational thinking attracted more and more attention in the field of information technology education.Computational thinking is a problem-solving thinking process, and it is a basic ability that everyone in today’s society should have. With the comprehensive advancement of the new curriculum reform and the emergence of Scraino as a representative visual programming tool, information technology courses have become the main channel for primary and secondary schools to carry out computing thinking education.Through literature search and combing,it is found that the education of computational thinking in computer science courses in primary and secondary schools abroad is at an unprecedented level, and the current research on the computational thinking of primary school students based on Scraino is weak.Computational thinking has become an urgent problem to be solved in information technology Scraino teaching.Sternberg’s thinking teaching theory, constructivist learning theory, and Dewey’s theory of middle school can provide theoretical support for this research.Based on the questionnaire survey method, this paper analyzes the problems in cultivating students’ computing thinking in Scraino teaching, and finds that students need to master the concept of computing, the ability to practice computing and the cultivation of computing concepts to be improved. Therefore, this article is based on Scraino teaching to carry out the instructional design and teaching practice of cultivating pupils’ computational thinking, combined with the core practical model of computational thinking, constructing an instructional design model based on Scraino to train elementary students’ computational thinking includes five processes: determining the purpose of the instruction, analyzing the foreword of teaching, designing the teaching process, organizing teaching activities, and forming a teaching evaluation.Which, according to Sternberg’s thinking teaching theory, the designing teaching process is divided into five links: creating situation familiarity problems, identifying and defining problems, using cognitive tools to form abstractions, recreating computing works, testing and debugging computing works,in order to achieve the organic integration of computing thinking and teaching process.Through the action research method, the initially constructed instruction design model based on Scraino to train pupils’ computational thinking is applied to teaching practice, three rounds of action research are carried out and the results of each round of action are reflected and revised. Finally, through the questionnaire survey and the evaluation method of work analysis, the teaching effect of cultivating pupils’ computational thinking based on Scraino is analyzed from the three dimensions of computational thinking, computational practice, and computationalconcepts. The verification model helps to cultivate pupils’ computational thinking.Provide practical guidance for the follow-up information technology Scraino teaching development. The main research results of this book are as follows: First, this research studies information technology disciplines and computational thinking cultivation, explores that Scraino can be used as a bridge between on these, and constructs an instructional design model based on Scraino to train pupils’ computational thinking. Then, the instructional design model based on Scraino to train pupils’ computational thinking is applied in practice to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of its implementation, which can cultivate pupils’ computational thinking ability.Students’ grasp of computing concepts, the application of computing practice and the development of computing concepts have been improved to a certain extent.Students can use computing thinking to solve practical problems in life, and students’ ability to transfer their thinking can be developed.
